Just found a company that can make original style steelies in modern sizes. Not everyone's cup of tea, but worth knowing about:

PARTS LIST
I occasionally use my blog to keep track of the next few parts I have to acquire. This is one of those times.
Brake stuff -- Buick drum backing plates
pedal assembly
Finned short water pump
Custom radiator
9" center carrier w/ gears
WINDSHIELD
Exciting development. We mocked-up the Sellers Equipped Hallock-style windshield and it's beginning to look like a car.

REAR SUSPENSION & COWL REPAIR
Here's a shot of the initial planning for the triangulated four link.
The Posies 3/4 elliptical mocked up alongside a rear link.
Tire rear tire's stance looks just about perfect to me.
Rear wheel is mounted to the axle shaft.
Tire clearance looks tight. Hopefully not too tight.
Here's a before shot of the front cowl before Mr. T performed his magic.
Gotta love the fresh metal.
Smooth as a baby's butt.
