I was tipped off to a great resource for looking at vintage dash clusters and in looking at it came across this 1958 cluster. Can't help but wonder what it might look like centered in the roadster's dash in concert with the rectangular wheel.

INTERIOR REFERENCE
Found this on the internet and wanted to post it as reference for what I'd like to do in the interior of the '29. Not so much the material, per se, but the idea of having storage areas build into the inner door panels, and perhaps even the trunk that are a lot like shoulder bags. It will be a long time before I'm sweating such details, but when I do, I'll have this to look back at.
Hopefully, I'll have more progress to report on the build soon.

SPEEDO THOUGHT
A quick thought. Early Bronco five-in-one speedo.
66-70. Imagine it centered in a model A dash.
You get the basic idea.

PARTS LIST FOR NEXT THREE MONTHS
SHORT RIBBED WATER PUMP
PINKIES PEDAL ASSEMBLY AND HYDRAULICS RESERVOIRS
CUSTOM RADIATOR
REAR END THIRD MEMBER
GOT THE BACKING PLATES
The Wilson backing plates arrived so we can get the front end completed. I also grabbed my leftover '65 Riviera rear backing plates while I was in Austin for the Round Up. We're going to reuse them on the 9" rear. Next step will be to get all the backing plates set-up so the car can roll out of the garage. We'll be able to stand back from the car and make sure we're happy with the stance and ride height before the rear suspension is fabricated. Then it's on to the floors, pedal placement and getting the Seller's Equipped Hallock windshield installed. I'll post progess shots soon.
