Progress is being made. This weekend, the Buick brake drums got drilled for the 9" axles. The front hubs are installed, and the headers are on, if only for reference.

REAR SUSPENSION & COWL REPAIR
Here's a shot of the initial planning for the triangulated four link.
The Posies 3/4 elliptical mocked up alongside a rear link.
Tire rear tire's stance looks just about perfect to me.
Rear wheel is mounted to the axle shaft.
Tire clearance looks tight. Hopefully not too tight.
Here's a before shot of the front cowl before Mr. T performed his magic.
Gotta love the fresh metal.
Smooth as a baby's butt.

THIS CAPS IT
Had a crappy day on Tuesday at work. Came home and ordered a gas cap for the roadster, even though we're a long way from actually needing it. It's a Monza-style, flip cap like you'd see on a Lemans car, and compact in design. It's actually from a chopper parts supplier and would look equally at home on an old school motorcycle. Nope, this one's going to rock four wheels.

FINAL REAR SUSPENSION
I just got back from the roadster and the final plan is in place for the rear suspension. It'll be a triangulated 4-link, using a Pete and Jakes kit. I'll post shots as it comes together.
